The Bullseye is used by the generic foot soldiers of the Chimeran army
and is a very effective weapon. Quick to fire, while providing reasonable damage, the Bullseye is very good at close quarters. This weapon does have the extremely
useful trait of being able to home in on a target though. Using the secondary fire, enemies can be "tagged". The tag acts as a tracking beacon for the primary
fire bullets and unless something physical is in the way, the bullets will not miss.
Unlike in the multiplayer mode which allows an unlimited amount of tags to be held, offline only six bulleye tags can be held at any given moment. They can however
be picked up off of dead Hybrids, but make sure you use them wisely.
Obtained: The Bullseye is acquired during the first playthrough in York - "The Gauntlet". After the second checkpoint has been obtained, it is in an alleyway after jumping down from
higher ground. It is an enforced pick-up i.e. you can't not pick it up.
Bullseye Trap: The Bullseye trap is a special function that the gun can perform. To perform a Bullseye trap, fire a tag while aiming at either the floor or a wall,
but make sure the button remains held down. This forces the trap to not disappear on impact, and it keeps its beacon status. Once the tag has been set in place, firing at the tag
will cause bullets to circle, creating a trap. Once the desired amount of bullets has been placed in the trap, the secondary fire must be used again to fire them at the target.
They will instantly be hit by a maximum of 50 bullets at once.
