Steelheads don't necessarily seem very dangerous at first glance, but they can take a considerable amount of damage and they wield a very deadly weapon. They also aren't afraid to throw
their weight around and can deal painful melee attacks if within range. This makes them one of the more deadly units in the
Chimeran army.
The Steelheads use the Auger and they have devastating accuracy. If you attempt to find cover to shield
you from them, good luck as they will track your movements. The best strategy for dealing with Steelheads is to attempt to take them on when they're first encountered.
The Backlash Grenade is an exceedingly good weapon against Steelheads and there are two
ways in which it can be used effectively. The first is to throw the grenade at the Steelhead and the second is to throw it at your feet. Either way, the
Auger bullets will rebound back at the Steelhead, so they will effectively kill themselves.
