Lieutenant Steven Cartwright was born in Somerset, England, where he also grew up and spent the majority of his childhood. However, he had an
incling to join the British Royal Marines and was
signed up to the Commando unit a few years before the Chimeran
assault took place. It is believed that he lost his daughter in the ensuing chaos that followed, and he has been optimistic about her chances of survival, even
though the climate has heavily escalated since the incident happened.
Before Nathan Hale arrived in England, Cartwright
led a small commando unit in his native Somerset, who have been causing numerous problems to the
Chimeran forces stationed in the area and with
Cartwright's favourite weapon being the L23 Fareye
he often causes his enemies many problems on the battlefield.
