Only one character has been disclosed so far in the story of Resistance 2, and that is Sergeant Nathan Hale, who returns from Resistance: Fall of Man. No other characters
from the first game will be returning for Resistance 2:-

Hale is once again the main character of the game, but this time the game will more heavily focus on him. Hale will this time be doing the narrative of the story and he will
be much more integral to its progression.
