Resistance 2

Overview

Resistance 2 is a 2nd generation Playstation 3 title that is currently in development by Insomniac Games. It is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Resistance: Fall of Man and is eagerly anticipated by a vast number of fans.

The story this time will revolve around Nathan Hale, as he battles the Chimera yet again. This time however, he will be fighting them much closer to home, as the majority of the single player campaign is said to be played in the United States of America. The single player campaign is apparently around the same length as the one seen in Resistance: Fall of Man, and it will be accompanied by a co-operative campaign, which has a different story. It will feature up to 8 players, which can connect to each other online, and will tie in with the single player campaign.

In terms of multiplayer, Resistance 2 is going to break the boundaries that have currently been set. The game will feature 60 man matches, which will focus on lots of smaller objectives. Occasionally everyone might have the same object, but the typical gameplay will split the 60 players into smaller groups. These groups will have an opposing group on the other team.
