Ted Price was interviewed by US technology website VentureBeat, and was asked whether he had an urge to move to other platforms. He replied:
"No. There are always opportunities, since we are independent. But for this generation, we are focused on the PS3 and the leading edge.
Would you really double or triple your money by doing that? The answer is possibly. It depends on the publisher, the quality of the game, and if you can pull off multiple versions of games with the same level of quality. We haven't been set up to do that. We've been focused on PlayStation technology for a long time. If we were to make that jump, it would take a lot of planning. Right now, we see the other side. If you have a strong publisher who is marketing your games as a way to sell the hardware, then you get a lot of exposure. The sales of "Resistance: Fall of Man" have done very well worldwide, including a lot of fans playing online."
Price also denied that Insomniac's recently opened studio in North Carolina was working on an Xbox 360 game, saying: "We aren't saying what they are working on. But we have said they are using tools that we have developed here in Burbank to make games."

We've wasted little time populating the Resistance 2 section with in-depth content. The first piece of content to be added concerns the weapons which were showcased in the footage last week on Spike TV. We've added detailed guides for Resistance 2's Weapons and I've added a digg button to it, so hopefully people can digg it if they like it.

It was always on the cards, but now it's been made official. Resistance 2 will have its own public beta. The news has broken in this month's GamePro, who have a huge 10-page preview of Resistance 2, which includes a competition where winners can win Resistance 2 Beta Codes!
People lucky enough to be involved with the Beta will get their hands on the 60 player action, as well as getting a sneak peak at Insomniac's new ranking system.

The latest episode of Insomniac Games' Full Moon Show has been released. They discuss the Resistance 2 gameplay footage that aired on Gametrailers TV and answer questions about it. They also talk with High Impact's Lesley Mathieson about the recently released Secret Agent Clank for PlayStation Portable, and Sony producer Greg Phillips talks about his job. Plus, Marcus gives the next contest a bit of a twist!

Insomniac Union is proud to announce its first expansion since it launched at the beginning of May. Previously, the only game featured on the site was Resistance: Fall of Man, but that will now rise to two, with the launch of the Resistance 2 section. There are numerous ways through which the section can be reached, ith the most obvious being the navigation at the top of the page. However, it can also be found in the games list.
While the section is a bit bare bones at the moment, hopefully it will soon start to become populated with content based on all the information that has been disclosed so far at conferences and during interviews.

Gametrailers.com has just posted three new videos from Resistance 2. Between the three videos, footage of online and offline gameplay are shown, with a lot of new weapons. Look forward to a full analysis of the videos sometime soon from Insomniac Union.

On the 11th of April 2008, Insomniac Games released the first glimpse of Resistance 2 on Gametrailers TV. The footage disclosed Nathan Hale’s voice, his bleak future and America overrun by Chimera. Since the video was only a teaser, it contained no actual gameplay footage. It teased even more though, as it ended with a promise of gameplay footage on Friday the 13th of June.
We discuss what could possibly be shown in the footage based on what has been announced so far.

During the Episode 27 of the Full Moon Show, the Community Update specifically, James Stevenson and Ryan Schneider gave a shout of to Insomniac Union. They pretty much told listeners to come to this site, so if you're here thanks to the Full Moon Show, we hope you enjoy the site and come back in the future for your complete Insomniac fix!

Insomniac have released the 27th episode of their podcast, called "Full Moon Show". The guys discuss the announcement regarding their new studio, with Chad Dezern and Shaun McCabe being featured guests on the show. They also do a little preview for the world premiere of official Resistance 2 gameplay footage, which will air on Spike TV

Ted Price was interviewed live by EuroGamer, and fans were able to ask Insomniac Games' president whatever they had in mind. Some new points that came up:
- Ted Price could not answer if Resistance 2 will need a mandatory setup. That's something that will be revealed closer to the launch, although he personally likes that kind of install; "Personally, I'd rather have a several-minute install the first time I play a game and then enjoy the benefits of faster loads every time I play the game after that."
- Resistance 2 will run at 720P and 30 FPS.
- Resistance 2 will be as long as the first game.

Insomniac Games has revealed to the world that they will be seeking out a location in North Carolina to open a sister studio, with plans to cut the ribbons and open shop by January 2009.
